Changing the gender of Eretz (land) in Hebrew

Bereshit update: land, ‘eretz’ ארץ is now in L’shon Ish - male form. We felt that it was relevant to unsettle the construct “Mother Earth” and think of it as “Father Earth.” This construct suggest that if Earth is mother, mother is Earth to subdue and control.

Other gender changes in Hebrew: city עיר (‘ir’) to male. עם (‘ahm’) people/nation to female.
