Labלַלֵּב: yael’s Notes
Toratah opens for us new language, thoughts, poetry and imagery. This blog intends to capture these branches as they emerge in the process of creating and studying Toratah, the Regendred Bible. These entries reflect my process, as emerged from my Kabbalah studies. They are based on a few foundational ideas: 1. All of Torah describes an inner world. The stories articulate interactions akin to internal conversations that occur within us as creatures who desire. 2. Toratah is a consciousness and identity building narrative, as is Torato. 3. ‘We will do and will listen’ - ׳נעשה ונשמע׳, describes the creative process. As an artist and jewelry designer, who works with languages, I experience language materialy. Toratah is a creative application of both Kabbalah studies and the creative process: Study, deconstruct, examine, make.
